If you’re like most people, attempting to understand all the ins and outs of a mutual fund or ETF is downright daunting. BlackRock wanted make the user experience on their site more “user friendly,” starting with their five hero funds.
With a loose template in mind and wayyyyy too many fund fact sheets, I embarked on a solo endeavor to transform the dry, jargon-y product pages into friendly, approachable, and helpful experiences.
It was far from an easy task, but after sketching, writing, rewriting, and conducting endless reviews with a bevy of stakeholders, business owners, and lawyers, five beautiful fund pages launched to much applause.
